1、用在时态中：在中学阶段，需要用doing现在分词的时态有现在进行时， 过去进行时， 现在完成进行时, 过去完成进行时。
3、跟在介词短语的后面做介词的宾语：be good at , do 嘛术铹砾well in , thank you for , give up ,stop sb from doing sth. be interested in., be prode of , intead of , be afraid of , what about …… ,think about, succeed in， by 等

7、还有一些短语或结构很有迷惑性，比如look forward to ,pay attention to . be used to . prefer to ，这里虽然有to ,但是这个to 是介词，其后面仍然要用doing 的形式，而不能用动词原形。
